STUDY SCHEDULE MAKER

HOW TO MAKE A STUDY SCHEDULE FOR A TEST

  1. Type the name of the test and pick the test date.

  2. Choose how many minutes you can study each day.

  3. List the topics on the test, one per line. Copy them from the study guide or the chapter headings.

  4. Mark any days you can't study, like game nights or family plans, then tap Make my plan. You can print it or save it.

WHAT YOUR STUDY PLAN INCLUDES

  • Learn days that cover a few topics at a time, so nothing is left for the last night.

  • Review days where you quiz yourself on everything so far and star what you miss.

  • A practice test near the end: mixed questions on all topics, timed, with no notes.

  • A light review the day before the test, using only your starred cards, so you go in rested.

TIPS FOR STUDYING FOR FINALS

  • Start early. A plan spread over 7 to 10 days is much less stressful than cramming the night before.

  • Quiz yourself instead of re-reading. Close your notes and try to explain each topic, then check what you missed.

  • Mix topics on review days. Switching between subjects or question types helps you tell them apart on the real test.

  • Protect your sleep. Sleep helps your brain hold on to what you studied, so an all-nighter usually backfires.

FAQ

How far ahead should I start studying for finals?

For a big test or final, about 1 to 2 weeks ahead works well for most students. For a smaller quiz, a few days is often enough. The study schedule maker spreads your topics across whatever days you have.

How many hours a day should I study?

It depends on your grade and how many tests you have. For most middle and high school students, 30 to 90 focused minutes per subject on study days is plenty. Short breaks every 25 to 30 minutes help you stay focused.

What is the best way to study for finals?

Spread your studying over several days, test yourself instead of re-reading, take a practice test under real conditions, and get enough sleep the night before.

Is this study planner free?

Yes. It is free, works in your browser and needs no account.

Can I use it for more than one test?

Yes. Make a plan for each test. If two tests are close together, give each one its own study time each day.
